Giving

 The Lord is generous to us; He wants us to be generous in return so that His love and provision may be seen through us.  Despite God’s generosity, I think it’s safe to say that all of us have experienced financial stress.  Regardless of our income level, we have all faced stress regarding our finances.  But in Matthew Chapter 6, Jesus instructs us not to worry about clothes or food.  Instead, “seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”  God is the creator and owner of all things, and entrusts us to be good stewards of His creation.  Managing our finances in a way pleasing to God, serving others and His kingdom, is an act of faith as well as an act of obedience.
